"My teaching philosophy is simplifying complex concepts to my students while making the learning process fun! Who wants to learn and practice and not enjoy it? No one! I also put a large focus on helping my student’s use their bodies in their most effective way possible. Less effort with better results!
I have been teaching golf for 23 years and have worked with and under well recognized teaching professionals including a PGA Master Teaching Professional. I have used many forms of teaching systems, technology based, video analysis, you name it!
Within a few minutes with a student, we talk about their wants, expectations and a lesson plan. I provide my students with items to work on between lessons and help my students to understand what is happening with their bodies during their swing and how their drills/work they are doing during and between lessons will make a difference.
Note: If you have injuries you are working through or past injuries, please feel free to reach out. I have had numerous injuries and have developed ways to work with mine and various student injuries and disabilities for individuals to continue to enjoy the game of golf. Golf should be able to be enjoyed by everyone!
For the clinic
For our clinic, I simplify topics into easily digestible information for my students to go home with, as well as teaching them to use their body in the most effective way possible!
What I hope to accomplish with each student:
I enjoy being paired with beginners and brand-new golfers during these clinics and customize the clinic experience to them with the following goals to achieve.
1. Provide a simple and fun base understanding of the fundamentals and concepts in golf. These may be brand new for the individuals, so having the students understand the concepts of the what and why helps speed up the learning process.
2. Not only teaching the golf swings but including many additional items like etiquette provide the individuals with preparedness that helps promote confidence entering the game.
3. Each student leaves with a lot information, drills, etc. in an easy to remember format to work on as well as providing individual adjustments.
With those goals achieved, the participants come away from the clinic day with an overall understanding of the fundamentals with the what and why, an understanding of basic golf etiquette to start preparing them for the golf world as well as items to work on to improve. With those goals achieved the participants leave the clinic happy that they learned a lot, more confident and motivated to continue to progress in golf, and to keep enjoying the awesome sport! "

Featured story written on Naomi in the PGA Magazine ‘We are THE Women in Golf’ in 2017 and another article in the following year’s magazine titled ‘Layout Meant for Footgolf Proves Popular with Beginners’
Naomi went to Penn State University to study Professional Golf Management, Business and Music and had three internship opportunities at Grand Cypress Resort (FL), Shelter Harbor (RI) New Bedford CC (MA), and as the Assistant Director of Operations & P.J. Boatwright Jr. Recipient at the WMGA (NY).
Then she took off to the high seas for an opportunity to be the Head Golf Professional on Elite Golf Cruises that started on one ship and after two ships she was asked to develop an itinerary for a new cruise line. She found her seas legs and developed two new cruise line setups for NCL cruise lines.
Coming back to land Naomi had the great pleasure to work for Master PGA Professional Tom Willson at Bonnie Briar Country Club. There Naomi developed her love for teaching, merchandising and tournaments.
After Tom retired Naomi ran all tournaments, merchandised, and taught at Turning Stone Resort Casino until she got her first Director of Golf job at the old IBM Country Club, Traditions at the Glen Resort. Naomi increased player development programs by around160%, memberships by 75%, and merchandising by 30%. She volunteered her time and integrated a golf curriculum for two weeks in an entire school district with over 360 children. That program could continue to run without her for years to come, which is something she is very proud of!
Naomi then ventured east to New England for a new path. She decided to change her career direction, wanting to focus on making an impact on women on a large scale, bringing them into the game and retaining them through programming. That is when she took a job at Mass Golf as their Manager of Women’s Events and Player Development. There she ran all of the women's tournaments and state wide leagues at Mass Golf for over three years.
Fast forward to March of 2023, Naomi decided to take a huge leap by starting her own company called ‘She’s My Golf Pro’. With Naomi’s vast experience in the golf industry and never-wavering passion to grow women’s golf player development, she came up with a brand-new concept in the golf world. Naomi brings her women’s golf player development programming to golf courses instead of only teaching at one facility. She’s like a ‘roaming golf pro’!
Naomi is currently working with golf courses in New England bringing women into the game and retaining them with her customized five week ‘No Embarrassment Clinics’ and ‘Stage 2 Clinics’. You can learn more about them on her website here -> www.shesmygolfpro.com. Naomi is also working with various types of businesses that want women to learn golf for different reasons like business, team building, networking, health benefits/social, etc. Naomi creates specialty programs for each company and provides options to each contact so the right fit is found for each company. At this time Naomi is also offering private and semi-private lessons and can be reached at naomi@shesmygolfpro.com for any inquiries.
