Kat Schwendeman is an LPGA Class A Player Development Professional who has been proudly teaching at Tampa Palms Country Club since October 2022 after transferring from Coto de Caza in Orange County, California. She has been with Invited Clubs for 6 years now as a reputable Player Development Professional.

Kat began playing golf at the age of eight after her aunt introduced her to the game in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Since then, golf has become a lifelong passion—and sharing that passion with others is what she loves most.

Kat especially enjoys helping women who are new to golf feel comfortable getting started, as well as coaching juniors who are looking for a fun, encouraging environment while developing their skills on the range and putting green.

What motivates Kat most is seeing her students gain confidence in their game. She believes golf should be welcoming, enjoyable, and empowering, especially for women who may not have known where to begin. Her passion for growing the game of women’s golf continues to inspire her every day.

Kat is excited to be teaching at Cedar Hill in Livingston, New Jersey, this week and looks forward to sharing her love of the game with the Cedar Hill community!
