As a match-up instructor, my coaching philosophy centers on helping each student discover a swing that works best for their unique body and abilities. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all method—every golfer is different and trying to force someone into a position that doesn’t suit their physical makeup can limit their potential. My goal is to create a learning environment where students feel comfortable, confident, and capable of success.
I focus on three core fundamentals: grip, aim, and setup. These are the building blocks of consistency, and I prioritize making them clear, repeatable, and tailored to each student’s learning style and goals. My instruction is rooted in simplicity—I use straightforward, accessible language to ensure students understand and retain what they’ve learned. For those who prefer a more technical or analytical approach, I adapt my communication to meet their needs.
A key part of my teaching is helping students understand the why behind their movements. By learning the cause-and-effect relationships in their swing, they become more independent and capable of making adjustments on their own. Beyond technique, I strive to build meaningful relationships with my students—becoming someone they can trust, not just in golf, but in life.

I began my golf journey at the age of 11 with my dad and older sister. While I played many sports growing up, golf quickly became special to me—not just for the game itself, but because it was time spent with the two people I looked up to most. Every Saturday, the three of us would head to the local range, practice, and play 9 holes together. It became our family tradition.
I vividly remember how my sister and I were often the only girls on the course. That experience shaped my “why” as a golf instructor. I want to create space for more girls in the game—to help them feel welcomed, confident, and excited to be on the course. Golf has so much to offer joy, friendship, competition, and personal growth. I want every girl to know the course is just as much for her as it is for the boys.
