Carly Werwie Swartz is a PGA-certified golf professional with a distinguished background in competitive play and coaching. Carly played in numerous tournaments as an amateur which was highlighted by competing in 8 USGA Championships, winning the WSGA’s Junior Girls Match Play Championship (2003), the Wisconsin Girls State High School Championship (2004, 2005), the WSGA’s Women’s Match Play Championship (2007), the Women’s Stroke Play Championship (2008) and being named the Wisconsin Women’s Amateur Player of the Year (2008). Her amateur playing career continued at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she secured a tournament victory at the Badger Invitational in 2010.

After college, Carly competed on the LPGA Epson Tour showcasing her ability at the highest levels of professional golf. During her professional career, Carly advanced to the Final Stage of LPGA Q-School three times, demonstrating her persistence and skill in the professional ranks.

Carly transitioned into coaching and golf instruction, beginning as a graduate assistant women's golf coach at Carthage College (2016-2018) before becoming the head women's golf coach at Loyola University Chicago (2018-2022). She is currently the Director of Golf at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, where she leads both the men's and women's teams. Under Carly’s guidance, her teams at every institution have consistently achieved new personal and program records.

With her experience competing at the highest levels of the game, Carly brings a wealth of knowledge to her instruction. She has been coaching and teaching for over a decade, working with golfers of all skill levels—from beginners to advanced players—helping them refine their game and reach their full potential. Carly is passionate about making golf enjoyable for everyone she coaches, ensuring they develop both their skills and love for the game.
