Murphy's Golf Academy was established in 2007 in Tampa, FL. My teaching career started in Cape Cod, MA then opportunities to advance took me to locations such as Connecticut, Boston, New York, Orlando, Chicago, Tampa/Clearwater and currently Daytona Beach, FL. As a LPGA Professional since 2002 and now a Class A member, I have and currently work with all levels and ages ranging from beginner juniors & weekday/weekend warriors to elite juniors, college athletes and competitive adults. Each player has a program specifically designed as an individual to crush the goals set for their game. This is accomplished by several components including mechanics, de-cluttering the brain of swing thoughts and a personalized fitness routine to build strength, mobility and flexibility so they may enjoy this great game for their entire lives. This has allowed me to take a different approach to instruction and my students quickly and more easily move to the next level. Currently I am a Level 3 Certified Junior TPI Instructor (Titleist Performance Institute), Level 3 SuperSpeed Trainer, Golf Fitness Trainer, U.S. Kids Certified Instructor, Assistant Golf Coach for Bethune-Cookman University (Division 1), Director of Golf at DME Academy and a Personal Trainer, which is a huge part of my golf instruction. Since implementing fitness and golf specific corrective training into my instruction, I am now, Murphy's Golf & Fitness. With developing players from as young as 4 years to as experienced in life as 92 years - everyone has a way to play!
