Golf is a game that, in my opinion, mimics life the most! Good bounces and bad bounces and how you overcome them and get better is the name of the game! Learning more about golf and about your own swing is part of the overall process of being a better player. Everyone is unique and has their own strengths and weaknesses in terms of what they will be able to do with a golf club. Finding what works for each and every person is what I strive to help each student with. What works for one person, might not work for their fellow golfer. However, once you've played golf for much time at all, you'll find that you can always get better at something! Same as life... live and learn!

Angela is originally from Long Prairie, MN (small town 120 miles northwest of the Twin Cities area). She grew up playing golf with her family, including grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins! After high school, Angela went on to Bethel University where she played 4 years of basketball and earned a Bachelors Degree in Physical Education. After college, Angela joined the Three Rivers Park District Golf Academy in Plymouth, MN, where she worked, seasonally, off and on for 10 years. She has also worked for GolfTEC Plano, TX, GolfTEC Roseville, MN, Golf Galaxy, Austads and more recently 2nd Swing Minnetonka. Angela is now the LPGA Teaching Professional (independent contractor) at the Long Prairie Country Club, in Long Prairie, MN. She also is a high school physical education teacher, head girls tennis coach, JV girls basketball coach and Student Council Advisor at the Long Prairie-Grey Eagle Secondary School. Angela takes great pride is going back to her roots and giving back to the community that she grew in!
