I believe in teaching the athletic side of golf. Coming from an all-sport background, getting overwhelmed with the mechanics of a golf swing never worked for me as a junior golfer. I teach my students how to limit variables in a swing that lead to inconsistencies. I love teaching people of all abilities, but especially beginners. I not only teach a student HOW to golf, I make sure each student leaves with a list of drills and games they can do to grow their game on their own. Whether it is 30 minutes or an hour, I love spending time with my students and getting to know them, discovering how they learn best (visual, auditory, kinesthetic), and nailing down their goals for our series of lessons. When you start lessons with me, I promise to be in your corner always!

My name is Kelly Hunt and I am a PGA teaching professional. I grew up playing golf in addition to all sports, however it wasn't until I had two knee surgeries that I fully committed to golf. I played two years of Division I golf at Seattle University and during that time I volunteered with the First Tee of Seattle and taught at Stanford's Summer Golf Camps for two years in a row. During the summer of my sophomore year of college, my parents moved back to our home state of New Hampshire, so I decided to get a job at the golf course. Little did I know, that would become my career which began at Manchester Country Club. Three years later, I became an Assistant Golf Professional at Wellesley Country Club. My two main focuses were golf operations and teaching, teaching over 300 lessons a year. I also offered clinics such as small group classes for beginners, women's intermediate clinics, junior advanced clinics, junior beginner golf academies and mom and daughter clinics which have been a huge hit. Over the past year, I have found my passion for teaching and I get no better joy than seeing my students succeed. I am also the creator of Golfhers, which is a platform dedicated to growing the golf industry for female professionals, and I am a member of the NEPGA Women of the Game Committee. I am currently the Director of Instruction at the Creek in Locust Valley, NY and spend my winters as a PGA teaching professional at John's Island Club in Vero Beach, FL. Long story short, I love my job!
